About Us/Welcome Your Child into Our Loving Family As a caring parent, you want the very best for your child. And that means a childcare experience that delivers all the love, encouragement, and nurturing that you yourself would provide. You want qualified teachers who love to teach and challenge children to discover what life is all about. You want a curriculum that sparks your child’s imagination. And you want an environment that mirrors the warm, comforting setting you’ve created in your own home. At the Mount Kisco Day Care Center, we’ve been creating just such a world for over 30 years. Bringing children together in a place that truly nurtures their dreams…and inviting their parents to share in a partnership that’s built on one common goal: To promote each child’s ability to learn and enjoy self esteem…in a diverse setting featuring the highest quality, affordable child care close to home. Your Child Deserves the Best Care – the Kind Mount Kisco Day Care Center Provides Every Day! From the moment we first opened our doors in 1971… our mission was different from every other childcare provider in the Northern Westchester area. As a nonprofit organization, we saw a growing need among working families to find good dependable care for their children at an affordable rate. And we worked hard to meet that need. Today, over 30 years later, our mission is still the same: to promote each child’s intellectual, physical and social development while enhancing his or her feelings of self worth. To these ends, we provide a safe, healthy and happy environment and offer a comprehensive and well-structured curriculum designed to prepare a child for the future. As an institution, we are committed to ensuring the ethnic, social and cultural diversity of the student body based on our belief that this policy is beneficial to the children and has long-term benefits to the community as well. Now, after starting with just a handful of children in several local churches…we have a magnificent new Intergenerational Facility. |
